Ethics
Anthenor Public Affairs adheres to the highest principles of ethical practice and transparency in the profession.
Since its creation in 2003, the firm has been a signatory of the charter of the Association Française des Conseils en Lobbying (AFCL). Its manager, Gilles Lamarque, was the general secretary of the Association in 2005 and 2009.
The firm has also worked with the Observatoire sur la responsabilité sociale des enterprises (Study Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility - ORSE), to define the notion of ‘responsible lobbying’.
In 2009, Anthenor Public Affairs was the first French lobbying firm to be listed on the European Commission’s Transparency Register, where all groups active in this sector are invited to list the interests they are defending on a European level.
Anthenor is also a member of the Society of European Affairs Professionals (SEAP), and is a signatory of its code of conduct.
Finally, Anthenor Public Affairs has obtained accreditation from the National Assembly and from the Senate, in the context of parliamentary assemblies aiming to set up a system of registration and adherence to the rules of best practice in the Public Affairs sector.
Anthenor Public Affairs was the first firm to receive this accreditation on the 22 December, 2009.
